His skits were funny, but it was pretty flash-in-the-pan, and they ran too long relative to the humor in them.

We all get it. The Niggar Family is an excuse to say the N-word on television repeatedly. Ha-ha. I get it. But the joke's played out by the second scene. You'll all hate me for saying it, but the show was already in decline.

I never cared much for the show either. Sometimes he was funny (I only liked a few of his little skits), but he himself is just a little messed up.

One of the co-writers on the show was being interviewed on a local radio station and mentioned that certain people in certain "political" circles were not too happy with his comedy, because the "wrong" people were laughing at it.

The interpretation that was given was that some of the so-called leaders in the black political community did not like white folks laughing at the kind of humor Chappelle was dishing out, and were making it clear to Chappelle they were not pleased.

yeah... typical. White people aren't allowed to laugh at the jokes because white people are all racist and being allowed to laugh at such a joke lets out their natural, inborn racist beast.

You guys are crazy fools. That was the funniest show I've seen in years, tied with family guy, to the last episode.
