Now, for how political we are, I can't believe this one hasn't been discussed.

Just saw it - loved it.

Hoffman/Hanks great chemistry.

I LOVE Aaron Sorkin. As our past discussion on West Wing / Studio 60, anything this guy writes is absolutely brilliant. I've been dying to see this but way too busy lately. I'll try and catch it this week :) From what I hear from friends, its outstanding.

'oh, Charlie's war ... uh yeah, right.'

- What's that mean? You can't knock Hanks/Hoffman, even if the Afghan scenes were a bit...off.
Worth a watch Kelraz, it was the only movie that's made a point the entire year. As "duh" as the point was - that we arm, pull out, and then return to face our old, armed allies, kudos for stopping the usual holywood rubbish to make it, IMO.

I think he means your title confused everyone. The name of the movie is Charlie Wilson's War. Not Charlie Did It.

But...but....this is Halo, after all; he cannot simply post without applying a tad of his wit to the topic.

Just got around to watching that, delightfully black docu-comedy, I'm surprised how little they did to obscure names of people still alive who had so much complicity in what turned out to be a pretty big screw-up.
