Just heard on the news that a gunman entered a school in China this morning and started firing on students. No confirmation yet on deaths, and the gunman apparently got away as they say a massive search has been launched. Chinese authorities "believe" the man to be an ex-convict from the area where the school is located.

Will this be blamed on:

1. Decadent Western influences, or

2. the Internet, or

3. Online/video games?

Whatever, it is always tragic when kids are victimized, especially in those places that are supposed to be safe havens.

I thought they all would use some form of Kung fu and dodge the bullets like Grasshopper did .......

The Chinese have been warring long before the US became a "western influence", so that can't be it.

If it was Internet related, he wouldn't have been shooting a rifle. He'd have been using his gun.

Therefore, it must be television. Oh! Remember when everything was blamed on TV? Oh, the good old days...

Wasn't there a similar case just a few months ago?
