I have this processor in my computer and im looking to get more RAM/upgrade.

Intel® Pentium® D 930 with Dual-Core Technology (3GHz, 800FSB)

I have 1 gig of 533mhz DDR2 ram in it atm. I want to know if i can use any faster ram instead and if its worth the cost or just get another gig of the 533mhz DDR2. Thank you ;)

What are your options? If you're choosing between adding another stick, or just replacing the one you have, adding one will always be faster.

Honestly, I'm not sure how much difference the user sees in RAM speeds for day to day processing. Especially if you have something else somewhere in your system slowing things down.

Im Looking at either buying another gig of the 533mhz or buying 2 gigs of something faster if its worth the money and I can use it.

Not sure what else would be slowing it down, have a 512 mb 7950 video card, and really not much software installed, i keep it pretty clean.

Did some searching and i think im gonna switch to a Core 2 Duo E6600 2.4GHz chip with some 667mhz Ram, since i found out my board would support both and its supposed to be faster than my D920 3ghz.
