"Instead of plugging his new book, Jon Stewart tonight on CNN's Crossfire used his time to slam the media's coverage of the election. Although Stewart leans left, he attacked political shows and begged them: 'Stop, stop, stop, stop hurting America.' Is it time to really stop all the political games that both sides play?

So he goes on the show, and pretty much dismantles the entire thing by being totally serious, surprising everyone, and the hosts eventually become incredibly childish to him.

(posted this here since I figure it's political and interesting. and no one looks in the nugget section. :p )

Bow ties really are hard to tie, though.

Jon Stewart used that show to prove that he was more than just a face for the writers on The Daily Show, he is genuinely intelligent and incredibly interesting. I'm going to be getting his(co-authored) book soon (2-3 day delivery sucks) and can't wait to read it.

The best part of the CNN clip though is the newsblurb on the bottom about the little boy winning the EZ-Bake oven cook off on the bottom. I bet you in 15-20 years that kid is gay :( Not that there's anything wrong with that..

hah. I love this idea. He's a comedian. He's paid make fun of politics. He did what he was paid to do.

What I mean is...Most people know Jon Stewart as the anchor for The Daily Show. He doesn't write all his own material on that show and never claims to.

What was shown there was a more raw version of just Jon Stewart, and he's a funny fucking guy. I've seen him do a show (well, it was a taped comedy thing) where he opened for Denis Leary, and he really fucking blew Leary out of the water. He's genuinely funny and doesn't get to show just himself on The Daily Show
