I would like to inform my guild of this, but my firewall from work computer prevents me from doing that. I bought a new Dell, should be here Friday.

Nothing great, 3.0 mhz 1 gig of ram 80 gig hard drive. Dvd writer. Cost under a thousand without a monitor. I know I could have got a better deal, but I was tired and aggravated.

Anyway, if someone can pass this on to a SoT member/Officer it will be mucho appreciated.

i'm sorry :(

if you are stuck on nvidia i would suggest a 5700, or if you want to go ati route a 9600 (even a 9600se performs well)

You have basically the same as one of mine for components, altho my putes are all HP. I have had absolutely no problems with the 5200 Nvidia.

I did upgrade to 2 gigs of DDRAM, but other than that pretty much the same specs as you have cited, and runs like a champ.

Hey Trikki ,

If you play any games besides EQ you will want another video card. The 9600's from ati are leaps and bounds better and fairly cheap. I hope the comp gets here on time, see you soon.

eqgame.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

If you were in the middle of something, the information you were working on might be lost.

I tried to open it up on 600x800 and got the same message. Any ideas? please!

I downloaded directx 9.0c and downloaded the nvidia drivers correctly, I hope.
