On the ride in this morning I made it a point to listen to BBC Radio to hear them report the world's reaction. It was awe inspiring and made me tear up again. There is no doubt about it history has been made and we were all a part of it. I am eagerly awaiting to hear the % of voters that turned out b/c I know it had to be monumental. I've never seen so many people vote since I've been doing it. The only exception is that in 2000 I waited almost 4hrs to vote at Ft. Stewart Ga whereas yesterday it was only about 1hr15min.

It is a good win a humbling win and a win with grace. I am very proud to have been a part of this election. The one thing that I am truly happy that I did was to get not only myself involved but to get my kids involved. I told them that win or lose they could one day tell their own children that not only did they witness what is the most historic run for president but that they were a part of it.

We would need to see Sir Taino riding into the debate on his mighty steed to joust with the likes of Halo and Wiggo and Edeina and the rest to really be able to enjoy some old time Euro-trash conflict. :p
