Making a long story short, I'm sick of my server and I'm considering transfering to Ayonae. I actually have a baby ranger I play here occassionally, but this transfer would bring my elemental ranger here. Seems like a very friendly server compared to the rat trap Druzzil's become.

Guess I'm looking for an idea of the server climate here. How many of your guilds are in the elementals, and of those, which are recruiting? Looked at some of the guild sites, and it seems the eles are active here, but is it bottlenecked?

Anyway, I'd be looking for an elemental guild, or slightly better that would consider a cross-server application, if I choose to take this step. Flagged up, and have Fennin under my belt. Magelo's in the sig. So I'm not totally serious yet, just wanna see what's what before making a decision.

I believe there are several guilds that actively farm the elemental planes, which include Fellowship of Dragons, Vallis Aspectus, Prism, and Final Destiny. Time is farmed by Invictus Maneo, Rest in Peace, and Sphere of Transcendence; there is a special rotation setup particulary for this (but Time respawn is only five days per instance); everything else is free for all. As for Gates of Discord progression, Eternal Wrath, I believe, is in Tacvi, and Invictus Maneo is close to becoming Qvic flagged. So if you're looking for high-end Gates of Discord progression, you might or might not find this server ideal if you're already able to enter Qvic, since only one guild is able to enter Qvic and Txevu, and already has made considerable progress in Tacvi (Eternal Wrath essentially has a monopoly over NPCs that drop muramite molds). There are also two European guilds: Landslide, who are in Time and early Gates of Discord progression; and Turul Legion, who have just entered Time.

The elemental planes are somewhat bottlenecked, but with many guilds experiencing lulls, you can expect to find more raid opportunities during this time as more guilds press for Gates of Discord content--the release of Omens of War will also create more activity on the server.

Eternal Wrath is the server's fastest progressing guild. If you like to raid often, have the AAs and time to commit, Eternal Wrath is an excellent option to go to the cutting-edge content.

As for family guilds which raid quite regularly, you might want to consider Valiant Crusaders and Sect of Honor. Vallis Aspectus and Prism lean more towards raiding but generally share the same philosophy.

Most guilds have amicable relationships with each other; however, there are few exceptions. Don't expect every guild to have a flag sharing pact with every other guild. Ayonae Ro is about three and a half years old, so it may share some of the same "old-server" drama you may be talking about.

This server is somewhat dense on middle-end players. Best of luck to you with your server transfer. If this is what you're looking for, maybe Ayonae Ro is suited for you.

Well, technically, Vallis Aspectus falls under that category, as well. We are a friends and family guild.

Actually, I have nothing agaist or for any guilds on the server. As much as you think I may hate EW which im getting a little sense of, they are actually one of my favorite guilds on the server, alot of cool people and the drama is only mediocre (pretty good for most guilds I would say). I know what little stuff is going on in pretty much every guild on the server. I would give him just the hard facts and comparisons between the guilds.

The good and bad issues, as opposed to some guild trying to recruit a person and saying only the good things or someone trying to get at a guild they don't like by telling them the guild isn't great. I give up on you guys, always acting so ignorant just to start shit.

well at leaste one thing is proven. the drama exists hear as it does on druzzil. imo, its the pissy undisciplened youth that most of the bullshit comes from. just accept the fact that they, by default, may disrespect you and ignore what I considered to be the failure in everquest, a hostile community (its the rotten few that are so loud about what they have to say that ruins the day for all the decent, well behaved players).

Thanks for the information everybody. I'm still not sure if I'm actually going to go through with it; a couple of friends might come with me if I do, so we'll all be looking for a guild, etc. Going to talk it over with them and see what's up.

I kinda like Final Destiny; reminds me a lot of my current guild as far as aim of content goes. Looking at a few others, that might want an SK, Necro and possibly a wizzy with about the same aa/flags I do.

We'll see.
