Ok, so I've only started playing this today.

$1 gets you a 7 day trial to see what it's like (the cash transaction prevent the gold farmers from blocking the server with unpaid players).

Have to say, haven't been this excited, scared and interested since my first days in EQ!

Graphics are pretty decent, the gameplay DEFINATELY takes some getting used to. Pretty much take anything you learned about MMO's and toss it in the drawer cause this game plays completely different.

Little hard to get into at first, but you find yourself getting up to speed eventually.

I could continue to gush, but basically if you are looking for something new, fresh, challenging and interesting (No autotarget here, NO SIR!) then I suggest you spend the buck and try it out. Definately worth it.

I must admit - it looks pretty damn good. Haven't played a MPORPG for about 6 years since EQ2! I just wish I had the friggin time to get into it. I don't think my machine could even run the trailer :P

Aye, it's not that I don't want to play Darkfall (my 7 day trial expired), but it's simply having the time to play it LOL!

It's an awesome game, just wish it was out 10 years ago hehe.

Has anyone played this at all? I'm very curious and going to download the trial if its worth it (14 days free)

I've played it. Reminds me of the old days of EQ. The threat of doing the dreaded corpse run is definately enough to get your heart pounding, especially when others can loot your corpse. Twitch gameplay though, don't stand in one spot, or you'll die quickly.

Its gameplay feels really clunky to me. Not nearly as polished as it needs to be to compete.

It definately takes some getting used to. They (adventurine) have done a remarkable job considering the size of their company. It's definately different, but you'll actually find that as you skill up and get some better gear (more emphasis on skill than gear), you'll find things moving faster.
