What game haven't you been VERY interested in?

There are many, MANY games that I look at that I couldn't be bothered with hehe. But those that do pique my curiosity go on this forum. Darkfall might not be the end all, be all, but for an Indy effort, it seems like one helluva step in the right direction for the MMO market. If nothing else, maybe other companies will learn from it.

Not sure if I'm gonna pre-order. Think I might wait till launch, then see what people say about it. The North American launch will come down the road (European right now), though NA players can play it and apparently provisions are being made to transfer NA players from the EU servers when the NA launch happen.s

Looks pretty interesting. since it is not gear based the full loot feature should be less a tragedy and just more a PITA.

My buddy is really interested, and i agree it has some interesting changes, such as skill system instead of leveling. But theres so much difference I cant help but expect this to fail and hard :( I just don't see them getting it all right.

I can agree with ya Chanur. seems to me they are they pushing it out a little raw. but bieng an Indie studio they may not have much choice.
if your not a Sony,Blizzard or Funcom(yea AoC) funding can be a bitch. what i took from the review was they shot thier wad on world build and were left to release a game that needs more content work.

Honestly we as gamers really should put alot of stock into supporting the Indies of the gaming world lest we be left to sucking the regurgitated puke from the Wal-Mart mentality giants.

Yeah, I'm looking at this and thinking it's not perfect, but I think it's something the MMO world needs right now. New, fresh ideas, and something edgy and in your face. It's focused more on the players than the content, though that is no excuse for being lax on the latter.

I like how there are consequences to being an idiot, how the world around you and those in it will hold you accountable to your actions. I also like how the point and click, autoattack, my gear is best approach has been tossed to the way side. Skill and experience will rule apparently.

Overall? I don't think I'll pre-order, but am holding the cash to buy the game as we speak. I want to see how this game does after it's first few weeks. I want to see what bugs pop up, what customer problems arise and how the owners handle them. If they do this right, they just might win my dollars.

Imagine, a game where you must work together with your community lest you be damned by it....sounds like good ol Ayo Ro to me. :)
