View Full Version : Draft 2007
So did anyone watch it? Was kind of boring for us Saints fan's but that is fine by us... we have no glaring needs and bascially were going for best available player.

I almost always watch.
It was funny to see Quinn drop - esepecially when they made the big deal of taking him out of the green room into a private room, where he could cry over not getting as many millions as he wanted. I'm not sure why Miami didn't bite.

I am not sure why the Packers didn't bite. Hell they need a QB ...well see at least they did pick up a no name RB second pick. Christ they are hurting for RB's.

They already have an investment in Aaron Rodgers.

Ted Thompson picks the best player in the draft available to him when its the Packs turn whether they need that player or not, Brady fit that mold.

How about Moss to the Pats? That could have happened before draft day. Only a 4th rounder is rediculously low value for Moss. I don't like Moss but he is waaaay better than a 4th rounder.

It's amazing how much his value depreciated after 2 years on a shitty ass team.
What a steal.

No shit an no one wanted his baggage, Surprised the Pats took him but hell he was a cheap reciever. At what sacrifice though?
Moss for a fourth is virtually a no-lose situation. I read somewhere that there is an "out" for the Pats also.... It is a big time advanatage for the Pats.
Donte Stallworth and Randy Moss are a good tandem.

It's fairly similar to TO going to Dallas.
Parcells didn't do the best job at reigning him in. I think Bilichek will do much better. He's had two less than stellar years and he's moving up to a super-bowl contending franchise with zero tolerance for grandstanding. He'll be alright.
