Last week I went to the White House with the Daily Show and we shot a bit about the Press Corps. It is supposed to air sometime this week.
I was hoping to add the piece to my reel but we are currently in the process of switching from Cox Cable over to DirecTV and I don't have my DVR unit yet.

Is there anyone who could DVR it and encode the segment and send me a DVD or some high-res media file? I'll gladly pay you for your time. The correspondent was John Oliver if you are familiar with the show at all, he's the British guy. Apparently getting a copy from Comedy Central could take weeks and we'd like to get this up ASAP.

Id like to help Kelraz but no way to get it off my parents DVR. I love the daily show though!

I think you can isolate and grab the flv file off of comedycentral.com then just convert it.

Oh that is a good idea, its so low quality there though. That definitely is a worst case scenario though, thanks.

I should be available (from someone's DVR) on a torrent within hours.

I haven't watched thursday's yet, but I just skipped through it and didn't see anything like that, so it'll probably be on next week. Jon Oliver had a segment on monday but it was about the Oscars. I'd wager that it'll be on early next week.

But yeah, Hulu has every episode of The Daily Show in decent resolution(that's where I watch it) and there's always torrents like Sanchek said.

Also, Jon Oliver is fan-fucking-tastic. The Bugle (http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/world/us_and_americas/us_elections/the_bugle/) is a podcast with him and another comedian do that is the funniest thing I listen to each week.

Just got my DVR on Friday and just found out this will air Thursday night. Be on the lookout for some superior camera work the likes of which have never been seen!
