Hi all,

Here's my deal; new computer, installed EQ and DSL dialup internet, can surf net and check email and everything, DSL is set as my default internet connection.

Everything should be good. I doubleclick on EQ, it dials up to the net but says that it can not connect and to email eqtech@soe.sony.com which i did but I don't expect an answer for a long time and I don't expect their answer to help.

Was hoping that someone may have an easy fix for it.

Sound like a firewall problem.

Look to there around open ports.. Don't know what ports EQ uese but either your router or a software firewall is where I would look first.

Thx, but I tried disabling my norton firewall and still couldn't get access :(

What about the DSL Modem. When I had DSL I had to open ports on it as well as any SW based Firewall. Just a thought.
