So some of my guildies who are students and who have absolutely nothing better to spend 12hrs of time so they accomplished a game wide firt.

One of my officers and another member formed a raiding group called Prismatic on Mistmoore (it's allot like AoR) and did something no guild has been able to do yet. Take out that baddie Darathar on IoR. It took them 2tries and 12hrs but they got him. He is a tuned version of the wimp that was around a few months ago, so it's not the first time he was killed.

Instantly after the kill Moorguard and 2 other GMs ported my guildie to one of their little commune areas to make sure it was a legit kill. There were apparently 100 petitions across multiple servers stating that they were exploiting. Why? B/C these uber guilds couldn't do what a mixed bunch of 24 did lead by a non-uber raid leader. They checked the battle logs and wished him congratulations.

Does EQ2 have raids? Yep. Does EQ2 have drama? Yep.

What is sad in this thing is that GMs are not that quick when helping stuck/bugged/disabled etc characters. 3 GMs jump immediately to block an advancement, but no GMs appear when someone gets ejected from the instance zone with a lockout time.

Anyway, grats to them.

What's even worse is yesterday me and my gf wanted to try one of the new boatride heroic thingeys to the Feerrott. We tried buying the dern 1g and some silver voodoo doll and it wouldn't zone us. So we just bought normal tickets and continued on our journey to CT. We both petitioned, she got her gold returned and all I got was grief saying that I a qeynos citizen had purchased a ticket from FP lol. I could care less about a little gold but I didn't want someone else to get scammed. It's pretty bad.

Due to the astronimcal number of petitions from "uber" guilds on other servers, two GMs followed the Mistmoore Prismatic raiding group around while they killed some Drakotas. Just to make sure that this rag tag non-guild group wasn't exploiting. Jesus Christ people bitch allot. Some of these people have this misconception that you must be in a militaristic uber raiding guild to beat end game content. Anyway it's a hot topic on server and they are jugging along helping others get their weapons.

I wonder though if ever in the history of EQ1 that a leader was set aside by GMs and questioning their combat skills like that. Those bunch just shot from rag-tag to uber fame in one day. Kudos to them! :)

nope apparently not. most raids in EQ2 are fairly short though. they beat him again this time version 4.0 and again was the first in the game to do it. it didn't take them 12hrs though only 6 lol.

he is a multi-stage fight. four phases if I recall correctly.
