It's a rumor (http://www.eq2flames.com/general-gameplay/16014-free-character-transfers-inc.html).. if it's true I just might transfer one of my characters to the server that you guys all play on. I'm about 40% from 71 on my pally, levelling is so much easier in EQ2 now but holy hell post 70 it's slooooooow.

Kunark is all about quests. They're going to up the abysmal xp in Karnor's soon and add a couple more named, but if you're not doing quests you're not going to level. Of course, paladins don't kill as quickly as wizards do, so I probably have an easier time of it than you.

I can kill fairly fast it's just my recovery that sucks b/c I need more mana! :)

I have been grouping mostly and grouping in KoS and EoF zones really. I can get a fair amount of xp doing an instance run in those zones. But you are very correct, questing is where it's at. But I will say that pre-70 I was getting much more exp for kills and quests. I had heard they boosted exp gain for 1-69, I believe it.
