I dont like how expansions are starting to come out at the same speed as everquest 1 , it feels like they are just trying to get out all the money they can before people start leaving.. I mean is there any guild that is done with Sky yet?

Actually yes there are a few on my server that are done.
This expansion won't be here any time soon, they have proclaimed the "expansion every 6 months" thing dead. Expect to see the ADV Pack much sooner like next month.

And are you still having fun playing yourself Fildien? I've been debating abou reopening my 42 troub back up but im just worried I wont find many groups in my level.

Yep I have loads of fun but honestly I attribute it to my guild. I'm only level 63 on my main as I have been playing PvP I am having a blast there these days.
When I stopped worrying about raiding nightly and finishing god awful long quests and just enjoy myself the game became even more fun.
As far as groups go, it could be your server. I have never had a problem finding a pickup group with any level toon. Were you still playing when they server merged? You might find a more increased population.
If you do reactivate you can find me on Kithicor as Nurta most days. Look me up.
Admittedly though I'm in my phase of wanting to play other stuff so I'm popping into EQ1 some nights just for the heck of it.

im on Najena atm and was debating about trying a different server but I got my troub from level 1 to 43 in the one free month I got with the game and the month that I levled that fast was teh month there was like 3 weeks of double exp, so because getting up to somewhat high levels again could be a pain to do without double exp it scares me from even trying.

yeah, i'm having loads of fun now that i can also attribute to my guild, seeing how i drop-kicked their ass to the curb and left Permafrost to go do PVP on Venekor with a better group of people. if anyone is still on Perma, please look up anyone with Robur et Decus and tell them Gaedii said they can go pound sand.
but if you want to have a great time playing EQ2, you should try one of the pvp servers.

I see Fildien is on Naga and your on Vek, wasnt one of those servers a Sony exchange server?
fildien

There are 4 PvP servers. One is US, one is Euro, one is RP and the other (Vox, I think) is exchange enabled. I'm on the US server. Venekor is the RP server.

Is there much RP going on venekor Gae?

depends on what guild you're in. my guild is not RP. we just like ganking freeps

The world is going to end right now. A goodie who admits to ganking!
My PvP guild sucks, no one is ever online. Sad too b/c it's the devs guild haha. They played for about two weeks and went back to PvE. I'm going to find another one that's more active.

I made a new Dirge on Nagafen because I saw its one of the most populated servers, stuck with bard because I like having notes float around my character it looks kool :)..Name is Rifter my first Everquest 1 name ever and hes a Dark Elf... is good and evil sides pretty even Fildien? debating if I am gonna do the betrayal quest or not.

lol it really depends on who ask. if you ask FP the Qs are gankers, if you ask the Qs the FP are gankers. just don't worry about it and have fun. there's tons of people at least you have track.....keep it perm. set to PC ONLY and watch out once you ding 10 :D

I was meaning if I stayed evil will there be actuall Evil people that I can guild with and talkto , because on Najena there was like one evil guild and everyone else was good.
fildien

No the factions are completely split. You can't talk to the other side. You can however "spy" until level 9. Once you ding 10 you can only see your factions chat, about the only thing you can do to the other side is emote.

and there's plenty of evil guilds. if you play on venekor, there's more freeps than Q's and some of the bigger guilds are Pandemonium and Rat Pack. at least they're high on our kill lists, lol. they tend to come to Qeynos and raid some of the zones in the city.

I'm playing a dirge atm but im wondering on a pvp server if maybe a healer is more fun.
fildien
05-05-2006, 07:17 AM
if play a healer I'd go fury.
I enjoy my assassin, but I haven't gotten to play b/c of my stupid PC problem.

dirge is better, healers are the first to get ganked

atm after one day of playing my fury is level 14 and yeah I notice that I am the first one to be attacked, what is really pissing me off is that I have nothing to defend against Sneak, I'll be wooping up on some wussy little scout and right ebfore he dies he'll run and boom (sneak) "where the hell did he go?"
fildien
05-06-2006, 10:05 AM
yes the fury sucks now but just wait as you level ;)
