Are they harder?

We tried King Drayek in Permafrost, both the normal and the "egg" version, we could beat both at lvl 50-51 but the egg version only on 3rd try. However for the first time, we could recover, when MT guardian died ... strangely Paladins got agro, and finished tanking the mob. Twice.

Does anyone have any info about other mobs? Have they been considerably upped? (Like Darathar, Arch Lich etc).

I will tell you in a few days. We are about to start hitting them again and we plan to visit Darathar this weekend.

I have heard murmurings that the old world mobs are tougher than pre-revamp. But then I'd read that they had been nerfed down. I do think you're going to find paladins tanking allot more raids mobs these days ;) We came out of the revamp very happy, we completely lost our DPS but we can mitigate damage and hold agro better than guardians can now :D

Have you tried Advisor and Commandant Rujak in Clefts of Rujak by chance? :)

No, so far we've easily killed Broog in SS and Meathooks (he's fun) and there's another I can't think of the name. Where are those two at, I haven't seen them yet.

Last night we unlocked a raid zone off of PoF (shimmering something), lots of gx4 mobs that are none agro we popped in as a group after completing the quest. It was actually an accident b/c we were trying to unlock the group zone lol. Tonight we are hitting Rogonog so we'll see how we do on old world mobs.

How did it go? Patch message said he is killable again :)

They are on the 3rd floor of Clefts of Rujak. 1st floor is mostly soloing mobs, Floor2 is groupmobs, and floor 3 is a bit harder group mobs. Floor 2 has some group bosses (like Blademaster, Gatecaller) and floor 3 has the aforementioned Advisor and Commandant (or Captain or whatever he is called).

Could be, I actually wasn't there as I was helping a RL friend who has just started the game. So I was running around Antonica mentoring a level 9 in fabled gear har it was fun :)

The other guild that posted that they beat him actually zerged him, they revived and kept going in after him. That's not how we like to do things.

I'm curious how did you guys do it?

Oh, forgot to mention that was our guardian who tanked rog who posted that.

well, pulled catch to rock, killed them, then killed crabs, then fake then real... Tank never went under 50%, no idea how we did, but seemed too easy. Conjuror, Bard, Defiler, Defiler and Templar was in his group.

What kind of armor is he wearing? The guardian doesn't have any fabled gear (silly guy never wants to spend his DKP). But he does have a few Cobalt peices.

Though I'm sure at 50 my gear is better than his, I do have a few fabled peices and can self buff myself to 43% avoidance and nearly 3k mit. I'm about 10% from 51, I've been piddling around with some noob friends and really just taking my time to level.

We failed miserably against Shak and Mak on the other hand in Firemyst.

Some update:

Advisor undoable at lvl 52 - the tank goes down in 3 hits, we only had 2 healers, but they had no chance. Their best was to keep the tank alive for 6-7 secs. It is supposed to be a 2group mob, maybe a raid can kill it. Or maybe at 56-57 will be easier.

We killed Sak and Mak in Firemyst easily with an 55 pally and 54 guardian tanking (one each). They stood no chance. However the Archlich is damn hard (lvl 53 ^^^^^^ mob roughly) - the elementals he summons eats through the healers. Our best was 80% on him, even tank dies fast with 7 healers. Maybe 2 more levels are needed.

The guy in CT rooftop (forgot name) is a joke. I mean - incredibly hard. 4k AE, comes with an AE stunning mob that I can't kite, the stun range is higher than bow range... We still have some levels to do before him. And the strange part is that this zone is capped at 52, so people have to mentor down.

On the other hand - clearing CT made 4 metal chests drop, out of which were 2 master spells - both ranger spells - and since I am the only ranger in guild... :P

p.s. missed your previous question. Our main tank is in the 100 wealthiest people on Guk - and is also a lvl 53 alchemist, has every spell at adept 3, ebon or fabled or cobalt.

Well they took him down easily last night with low 50s and some sub 50s. And they went on to do the other CoD instance and grabbed a vox shard last night. I couldn't make it as I was still at work dealing with effing gremlins :(
