Which is most desired in groups and such.. dps wise ? and Does anyone know if rangers get wolf illusion at some level?

Rogue is an archetype and there are two subclasses from it: Brigands and Swashbucklers.

Honestly, it's a toss up between them and the Ranger. Rogues can stealth their groups so the group invis is a plus. Both can track, both have a speed buff, both can evac....both = Rangers and Rogues. I'm totally impartial. However, on the Predator tree you have Rangers and Assasins....hands downs Assasins are the DPS class of that group.

I have no idea about a class specific illusion for Rangers but all Sprit Totems of the Wolf cast the wolf illusion which like every illusion can be hidden by typing /hide. I hate illusions.

I keep hearing about those totems.. I dont have alot of money but is the bazaar like mode teh only way to buy those totems or is there some kind of easy quest to get one?

totems are made by woodworkers and can be bought fairly cheap like 20s on my server. there are drops in some zones that are one charge potions (blood of the wolf).

yeah just checked on my server :/ 2 gold is the cheapest.. and when my highest level char is 20.. 2 gold isnt something I see everyday

Recheck. On my server its max 1gp. I am also a woodworker, and usualy sell them for 90sp. The cost price is roughtly 54sp (this is what I pay in materials for it).

On Najena dont see any that cheap.. Maybe im just unlucky and checking teh prices at the wrong time... Anyways picked a ranger seems likes its gonna be alot of fun to play.. if assassin's are more melee driven then what are Rangers?
