They just don't want info getting leaked out. It makes it more exciting to play the game when you haven't seen that much on it. I doubt they're concerned with small communities, I've heard that they've even asked to be a part of them to see opinions.

I cant believe that I still havent been accepted to the beta.

I signed up on day one of the signups within the first hour of the beta application form going online and I've beta tested so many MMORPGs that I bring a lot of MMO testing experience to the table and still I go without an invite.

The "open" beta I.E the stress test will only start in a few weeks. People getting in right now are most likely the legend/lord of everquest player. The one that bought that stuff I mean.

For the stress test, is that something that one should have already signed up for? Or when it occurs, will they open it up for people to sign up? I missed the beta signups, so just wondering if I have a chance, or if November is the first time I'll see the game.
