You can find it on the link below:
www.eqii.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?t=4532 (http://www.eqii.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?t=4532)
(or go to everquest2.station.sony.com/classes.jsp (http://everquest2.station.sony.com/classes.jsp) if you want to try to figure out the puzzle yourself)
EQ2's class tree looks interesting ... seems a little like the Asheron's Call 2 class list. I would say I probably would be a Mystic ... judging my past experiences with that lot.
Anyway, what class would you be and why (if planning to play EQ2)? Oh, yeah, if anyone wants to join, Bunnies of Chaos is planning to make a reappearance on EQ2, so if you want to join and help draft a charter, the site is boards.bunniesofchaos.org/. (http://boards.bunniesofchaos.org/.) We're hoping to have a full site before the beta. I've been in talks with Solusek Ro, seeing if they want to come along too... Wishing you a happy new year...

While I am not sure if I will play EQ 2 or not, computer might not run it well enough to satisfy myself. But if I would I would absolutely be a wizard, love the class in this so I would of course have to play a wizard again.

Can't solo in EQ2, so I won't be playing it.

Can't Solo?
How so, not that it is such a huge deal, but I would like to know how it isn't possible. Not everyone has time to group all the time and I would find it hard to believe that you "can't solo."
Please elaborate.

I don't have the inclination right now to begin looking it up, but Blizzard has stated it's intent to make soloing as unrewarding as possible to discourage it, and SoE stated somewhere I believe that they will try to use a system similar to FFxi's that will make soloing past the early green levels nigh impossible.

Soloing in World of Warcraft is a *very* viable play style. The world is being designed in such a way that a soloer can achieve max level without ever grouping.
Now with that said, by no means is soloing the best option. Grouping will always yield better rewards. Also, certain quests, exterior areas and dungeons are specifically tuned for groups. A soloist could go back and do experience these things, but they would need to be much higher level.
You can accomplish a ton solo. Most of the time, I can handle one to two even con mobs solo, depending on the class. With some classes even more...
Hope that clarifies things a bit.
From Tigole, a few posts below yours on the Druids in WoW thread. Sounds like they're going to make it more viable than it currently is in EQ1 (barring ridiculous bard soloing entire zone loopholes and the like), and balanced so that you don't have to pick a certain class just to be able to solo effectively.

Hrmn. I trust Tigole more then my own eyes usually, but I was reading the "lowdown" and they said they weren't going to make it viable.
Maybe I was just drunk both times.

after EQ i think I am done with RPGs. The time sink is far too much too start a new game.
With the dumbing down of EQ over the last few years its hard too think EQ2 will be different.
EQ for something that used too take months too do if you play alot, now takes days.
Remember running from qeynos too freeport and it really felt like a journey, and Quenos too Fenwithe was a epic jouney .

I remember that Zehn.
BUt I think what was said was that soloing will be "viable" but you will experience diminishing returns. Like first 10 kills are max exp.. next 10 are 90%.. next 10 are 80%... ect ect.
Soloing is for people who dont have a lot time to get a group and what not, so they give people the option to solo for a limited time.. So yes, a person can solo to max level.. but it will take a Long Long Long time

Here I come again LOL.
The one thing I find REALLY odd, is the fact that Sony pretty much stated (with regard to EQ) that if you don't like soloing, consider another game. Yet, they release SWG, in which you could effectively go through your entire gaming career and never group. The whole system supports both. There are bonus's for grouping, but certainly no penalties. Cash isn't a problem either, as it's very easy to come by, and I have yet to see anyone buy anything from a vendor, as the bazaar they have is bar none the best I've seen yet (put item for bid, mark it instant sale or auction and log off. Recieve message in game when item is sold, cash gets deposited in bank. That easy!). It's all about the skills, and how you work it. To make things better, to train, you can either a) pay bucket loads of money to an NPC for your skills or b) get another player character who needs apprentice exp to train you. Heck, I've been PAID to let someone train me. It's wonderful!
Yes I know some of you have played this game in the past, but they have made some changes recently (enough for them to say Ignore the handbook in game, check out our website for the new one), and now you're starting to see the Jedi come out of the woodwork, so things get interesting (saw a Jedi take out an Imperial AT-ST walker in less than 2 minutes, was awesome hehe.)
It'll be interesting how WoW deals with soloing. Personally I think both options should be available. You shouldn't have to sit and wait for hours on end to do anything in game, nor should all the high end content require 25+ people of certain classes, least not ALL the time.
Thoughts?

i spoke to tigole at E3 at the WoW booth and solo'ing was a very viable and used source of experience. he was soloin'g on a hunter showing people the game and such, and one of the quest designers was soloing on his magician, so i know in WoW soloin'g will be allowed.

no high level solo in eq2? wonder how long that idea will last? I'm sure it will have hella update like our current lifetap of entertainment. Well until i see Quarm those others will have to wait. Been playing eq a quarter the time most of you have so im not ready to leave, dont even have a single tradeskill over 200 . . . yet.

Artisan classes seem really boring...

On the contrary, SWG is a tradeskiller's dream. Not only are there bucket and bucket loads of items to be made, but the quality of the items used to make them influences the quality of the product overall. The possibility of creating items with enhanced stats is very real, and you make exp by making and selling these items. It's something that's hard to explain and just better to experience. If you have a buddy that plays, ask him/her for a lend of their CD's and ask them for their Buddy key, gives you a 7 day free trial.

So you can make all this nifty stuff in SW:G...the only problem is there's no point to using any of it.
It's like being able to make 100/10 swords in EQ, but there's no mobs worth fighting, so you all make 100/10 swords all day and sell them to eachother.

Hehehe, try the explorer (or if you get that far, Bounty Hunter) missions, you'll find PLENTY of things to kill with yer nice new weapon ;) Much has changed in the last couple of months apparently.

With the dumbing down of EQ over the last few years No shit. EQ2 might as well be a FPS.
