I picked up a new pute with Windows 7, and more than I will most likely need, and have had a problem installing EQ on it. I wanted to check it's performance with Shards of Dalaya, but am unable to get Everquest exe to work. Have installed Everquest Titanium twice, which is what was installed on the Windows Vista boxes for Shards.

Quad Core
8GB ram
1 TB hard drive
nVidia 9100 graphics

Any ideas? Or is it as simple as Windows 7 not being compatible with the EQ Titanium package?

Congrats on the new 'puter - I'm loving mine at the moment.

Have you tried running the installation in compatibility mode? I had to do that to get some of my older Paradox strategy games to work from 7 - 8 years ago.

I'm tres impressed with Windows 7 so far.

On the last attempt, rather than uninstalling I ran the repair wiz which pulled a few files off each disc, and that did the trick.

And yes, I am having fun exploring Win 7 too. ;)
