Apparently we aren't allowed to finish the last 2 or 3 expansions before they introduce new content. God forbid they fix some of the bugs first.

Quit bellyaching. Is it still cliche to say that? "God forbid the fix some of the bugs first."

OoW and DoN were probably the closest thing to finished expansions when they came out, with the exception of retuning Vishimitar and then making him inactive while retuning.

if the expansions came out at the pace some of you "raiding guilds" finally complete content it would be years till we saw some new shit.

actually, that's 10 expansions: Kunark, Velious, Luclin, Planes, LDon, LoY, Gates, Omens, DoN, and now this one (eh, I forget the order of some of the middle ones).

in any case... looks like some interesting stuff... I enjoyed "Project M" back when it was on test a few years ago, and with the instancing they've added since then it could be pretty fun... at least it's something new.

Right are you saying guild's take a long time to beat new content or something?

Methinks Shamzy is once again speaking out his ass, have to pardon the muffled sounds as his head is stuffed in there and is making enunciation difficult.

yeah guilds who arent at the Highest Content atm and if we had to wait for THEM to beat all the content we wouldnt see new content for a couple years.

As for guilds finishing content. Before the fade of EQ the top raiding guilds were generally done with the expansion long before the new ones came out...

As mentioned, SOE has to release new material often enough to give the 40+ hour/week players something to do. They burn through the expansions much faster than the 10-20 hour/week players that make up most of the guilds these days.

Shamzy was making a subtle attack at the mid end guilds (and representatives of them that are posting here) who are currently doing content that is years old, and saying that if we had to wait for (his quote) "raiding guilds" like these, we'd be waiting for a while, and that focusing on that content (like has been suggested ala "fix teh bugz!!") would just be shit.

Man ur gay if you didn't get that lol talid loelz.
