Hi.

Firstly, my sincerest apologies if this seems like self promotion.

We are setting up a full, traditionally printed magazine dedicated to EverQuest. We believe this is something a lot of players would be very interested in.

We are very interested to know the following:

1) Would you consider buying an EverQuest magazine. Any factors involved?
2) What would YOU most like to see in the magazine.
3) Any other suggestions you may have.

Our homepage is <removed> - We would very much appreciate it if you could pass the news of the magazine on to your guild and your friends.

One last thing. We are looking for 'readers mail', as well as peoples opinions on Omens of War design and mistakes Sony might make etc. (Anything on that topic) and we would love to hear what you have to say on those issues, to tell us, visit <removed again>

Best Regards.

I would buy it if it came with a wood elf chick figure.

Is this an official thing or what? And yeah, I might buy it, assuming the content is interesting to me.

Hi. My apologies that this was considered advertising. It wasn't the intent. Thanks for leaving it up minus urls.

No, we are not official. A bit more about us:

We are professionally written by EQ enthusiasts, for EQ enthusiasts, for the simple reason that we believe our hobby deserves it's own magazine.

Any feedback as to what you would personally like to see in an EverQuest magazine would be appreciated.

It buy it only if they have interviews with players and stuff and things to get to know other people and their chars from different servers. Thats would be sorta cool.

Perhaps it's not official, but it's awfully coincidental that this question comes up at the same time Sony is asking us this question.

I was thinking the same thing, Mirdorr...

It's either extremely bad timing, a scam, or a blatant attempt to cash in.

Probably choice C. The website looked like something my grandma showed me that she made in Frontpage, back in 1998. SoE wouldn't put out anything that rough officially.

The only reason I might possibly subscribe to one is if the developers themselves each had dedicated columns showing what they were working on, and providing some insight on things to come. It would provide another level of communication that didn't previously exist. SOE's official forums and their dev tracker are a start, but it could be better.

I play EQ. When would I have time to read a magazine?

Unless you are one of those maniacs who takes a wireless networked laptop in with them (you know who you are). Read your magazines then.
