I hear that Drizzen had his account hacked, is this true?

Hmmm, I read many times that most people get hacked by someone that they gave their User ID and Password to. Could it be someone inside EW?

I would imagine that he will get his account rolled back to before it was stolen/hacked.

I was talking to a friend of mine and we calculated out how much real money it would be if just the plat went through Player Auction. On an average 100kpp goes for around $200.00. This would be $32,000 for 16 Million PP. Shit I would bet that 75% of the people that play EQ or read these boards don't make that much in a year.

And I am NOT saying that someone is going to sell the PP through Player Auction!!! But If Drizzens account was hacked, I would say some if not all of the PP will find it's way to Player Auction.

What I am saying is that this is major news and news needs to be heard.

If I was Drizzen, I would do a couple of things.

1). Have a phone call into SONY and get some answers to how they will handle this. $32,000 deserves a phone call with Sony giving me answers. Not only getting my items back, but finding out how they will find the person that did this.

2). I would put out a reward to anyone that can give information that would lead to catching the person that did this.

Not saying it's not true, but I find it hard to believe Drizzen would personally have 16mil plat. Would be possible though if he holds EW's guildbank on his account(s). Even being a grandmaster in every tradeskill (which is arguably one of the best ways to make money these days) and going out of my way to farm items and tradeskill junk for cash many times, I would say my wealth over the days has been a max of 3-4 million plat. Oh well, hope the fucker that hacked him gets punished...that shit is lame.

He had 16 million plat on his account and my guild is currently buying coffins, pearls, dots, hatestones and gnome illusion potions from it.

With the introduction of MGB and AA skills which save on regents... the expenses on Raids have gone down alot..

And remember.. you would only have to sell 5 bows at rockbottom price to make a Mill..

When you spend 5+ hours a day everyday playing a game with someone, as if you were spending as much time playing playstation with a buddy you develop an online bond sorta, Ainwein. That's the real addicting part. Everquest itself is a sub-par game to what is out there. I've found out that it's the people that make it what it is, and the high levels of interaction. If you follow your leader and they do their best to please you and then 100+ other people in your guild happy, sacrificing their time and selfishness to provide a fun game environment you grow respect for them.

They are rabidly loyal to each other.. they can argue like cats and dogs in guildchat.. but they tolerate nobody else.

Truth to be told I never really knew Drizz even if I followed him for a year. I never knew if he liked me or not. Hell I still haven't made up my mind regarding what I think about him. Shortly after that my old guild disbanded and both Sal and I joined EW. Was a great time, we both raided hard to impress our new guild and was enjoying the game. Along came Weolf, bugging his brother and his brothers real life friends to get him into EW. Whining and sniveling and whimpering that since he had the best gear that money could buy that he was EW material. SoooO he came on a Kael raid or 2, and spent more time in the fetal position than President Clinton during his empeechment hearings. Poor kid had absolutely zip for skill as a ranger, was sad really after all his boasting and running constantly of his mouth.

I think he quit sometime after this, dedicating his life to hanging on the tight whites of Eternal Wrath. Buying every toon and item he could from us, going so far as to use someones access to spam email dern near our entire rooster begging to negotiate with them.

I know sony is a bitch about getting passwords back so it's not like he went to them and he got the password emailed to them. I once stopped playing my account for 14months and for some reason the old password didn't work so I contacted Sony customer support like 80 times, my problem was when i first started playing i didn't have my own credit cards so had to borrow friends (no game cards at the time) sony told me i needed the names,credit card NUMBERS, addresses and everything before they would ever give me the password back. I got them all and gave them the info and they told me one of the numbers didn't match...i'm like WTF...

luckily i got it back , somehow they RESET the password to the same as the user name... i know they did this after me bitching about it because i had already tried that thinking maybe if the account was dorment for that long they did something stupid like that and it didn't work at first... they also never let me know they changed it to the user name after i had been bitching... nice huh... anyways i got my account back, changed the password immediately and have been playing for 4 months again without any trouble.

Having access to 133t inside information it actually went like this:

Shortly after a raid Drizzen was baited into the arena by me, while Fandros and Kinuven waited inside the wall (this was done by pushing themselves into the digital bricks)

But, frankly, unless I get faced with a problem where it's going to take selling Palimax to feed and shelter my family, I'll just retire him gracefully. Outside of some sum that's going to change my life, he's just never going to be for sale.
