Is it possible to do something like this....

User_01 apps to the guild and wants access to the forums....instead of just making your forums password protected can you use an approved users list? IF you can, can someone tell me how eZboard defines this b/c their management tool seems confusing to me :\

Make it password protected, but add them to the allowed users list instead of giving them the password. If you have multiple boards, add them to one and then mimic the security settings of that board to the others that should have the same access list.

EZBoard sucks amazingly to administer.

Hey Sanchek this worked great for "global" users but not for "local" ones, any ideas why they are treated differently or how I can make them not have to type the password to access the protected forums?

God what a pain in the arse!

There's a check box or radio buttons to specify if it's local or global when you add the user.

yup tried that :(
They still get prompted for a password.
I have even removed and readded them a few times, nothing seems to work. One question though....when adding a local member to the list do I use their full member name or the short one? nurta@immortalblahblahblah or just nurta and set it to local?
