We are not doing a threaded draft. In fact, I don't know that we are going to do a draft at all at this point. It is scheduled tomorrow at 5 est which a number of us cannot make.

Honestly, a pre-rank auto draft is specifically for this reason. Finding a time to get 11 people from across the country together is difficult at best.

I understand the knocks againt pre-ranked autodraft but seriously, if you have any sort of cheat sheet it takes literally 10 minutes to put in your top 100 picks. Hell, I did this to prepare for last nights supposed draft anyway. And if you aren't that interested in ranking players just accept the pre-rankings.

Really guys, this is a free "for-fun" league. If the option is no draft or a pre-ranked draft, I pick a pre-ranked draft.

and i'd rather not do a league at all then a pre-ranked draft. pre-ranked draft takes any flexibility out of the equation based upon what the other people are picking. My top 100 would probably have 50 running backs or more, so then I could in theory pick 6 running backs before I even get a qb. Or 4 running backs before I get a receiver if the higher recievers I rank are taken. Or I could get no running backs before I get a qb and 2 recievers and really be fucked.

not to mention that 16 rounds with 11 people is 176 picks. One would have to prerank at a minimum 200 players, and probably more like 250 players to cover all situations and positions necessary.

I've been trying to get us another draft time (until you start setting times, it only lets you do as late as 5pm *boggle*). I just went to try and adjust our time up, and now it has us locked in (guess it got too close to the time).

How's tonight around 9 or 10 EST for the draft or tomorrow evening?
