I have yet to receive an email regarding this league, so I'd have to say, it's not too late.

Been in bed sick all weekend so I haven't been on the web much. I'll try and get the emails out tonight :)

Hope your feeling better soon, dude. Take your time, I'm sure my limited number of brain cells could use a little time to absorb the information from my other two leagues.

Three leagues this year... That's officially the most I've played in during any one season.

I need to hear from folks about what kind of draft. Do we want to try and do a live online draft or prerank picks and let it autopick?

I vote for preranking picks. I know it leaves much to be desired but I would hate to try and coordinate everyones schedules and time to do a live draft.

I'm not sure how the prerank draft works...we just list everyone in order and then the computer sorts stuff out based on our lists? I only see 30 slots for the prerank so I'm not sure how that works out well.

We could also do it on line here on the board. I could have someone like sanchek do a random order for me then we could take turns posting our pics in a dedicated thread if y'all think that would work better.

That would eliminate the fact you might end up with some from the prerank you wouldn't have taken if you had known you got some of your earlier ones.

I'm cool with that.... here on the board would be a new and cool way to draft. Live works for me too. I'm pretty flexible with my schedule.

I screwed up and made my team name my last name (long day at work) so maybe Blearchie can change that for me later.

I always prefer live drafts, but drafting here on the boards would be much better then preranking, I despise those. I'm quite flexible for drafting as well. As long as its not 8:30 monday, thats my own league's draft time. :P

It looks like you can change your team name yourself. I'm Go Gnome or Go Home.

I'm really leaning towards on the board if that would be ok. I can only imagine the scheduling trying to get everyone on line at the same time to draft. The only downside I see is it would take a few days as folks were able to post and stuff.

We're only lacking 4 more folks from taking the invite to get this thing rolling :)

What kind of time limit will we have to make this draft happen? If it's minutes, a group IM would probably work better. Sitting here refreshing a thread might work, but it seems like it could have some problems. Doesn't ESPN's league have a live draft function?

Question: I noted that Special Teams TD's are listed under Defense/Special Teams and also under Miscellanious. We gonna get 6 points for a kickoff return for TD under misc. and 3 points for the same TD under special teams?

I think I understand the Misc. points now. Say a receiver on your team is also returning punts/kickoffs and scores a TD, you get 6 points. If you also own the defense that uses that receiver for this, you will score 3 points for the TD.

Now on to the number of players started each week. It lists 1 QB, 1 RB, 1 RB/WR, 2 WR, 1 TE, 1 Def, and 1 K. Then it lists for maximum allowed 4 QB, 6 RB, 8 WR, 3 TE, 2 Def, and 3 K. Am I to believe we are allowed to draft as many as 6 running backs? What's the total team size number? 16 or 26?

I'd much prefer a live draft. Preset drafting sucks because you can't take into account what other people are drafting or what you've drafted earlier in the draft.

draft size on ESPN is 16 rounds, so 16 players max. Those are just the max number per position you are allowed to draft

Going to get someone to give me an order (since I am participating) for the draft, but, if it might be possible to do it live, what times are good for everyone?

I've got 2 in peewee football 1 in cheerleading and 2 in soccer, so after 8 EST during the week(except thursday - cub scout and girlscout night till 9) works for me, or a sat or sun afternoon.

I could also do it during the day from work if we set up the day a few days in advance so I can make sure to clear my schedule.

any week night after 8 is good for me, i can do it during my raid time. Shhh no one tell my guild.

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday work best for me.

Any day works for me as long as it's wrapped up by 11:30pm PST. I could do it during the day as well. On the weekend, any time is fine.

After 8 on weekdays is ok by me as well, but this Sat is no good.

After 8 during the week is perfect for me.

I'm wide open atm.

After 8 on Monday or Thursday for me next week. I have a draft on tuesday. I could draft on the weekend also.
