Is anyone planning on playing this? I believe it is due in a few weeks.

My girl friend has been in it since Alpha, and i will probably be playing it with her, atleast until DC Universe Online comes out.

I heard the open beta starts either this week or next...we should see about ending up on the same server.

For anyone playing, me and the three or so people I play with are going to end up on Wutai along with some other friends. If you're interested in grouping, I'll be Amandera Kendall and Garviel Loken. Probably Marauder/Lancer for one, Pugillist/Something Else for the other.

4 weeks later, are you still playing? How is it?

It needs a lot of work. Not much to do as a group yet, UI problems, inventory management is weird at best. Combat is its strong point, and class mixing.

I saw this game listed as one of the biggest "fails" of the year in the video game industry. Anyone that's played it agree with that assessment?

Not sure if I'd call it fail yet, but I haven't played it in a while. It's a game that was released when it wasn't finished, which seems to be an epidemic for the MMO industry as a whole lately. Needed to wait 4-5 months before pushing it out.
