I know a few of us live in florida, just thought i would start a thread where people could post they are ok, and eventful nights/mornings.'

We got lucky this time around. Last year all 3 hurricanes barreled through us, Wilma went south of us, but we are about to get one of the nastier "feeder" bands so it's not quite over. So far just about 2.5 inches of rain and max gust we got was 47mph.

I am in Casselberry myself, and at work...some gusty winds and plenty of rain

I used to live in Casselberry, i went to South Seminole Middle School, lived about 2 blocks from it :)

I'm in St. Pete, we got very little, just some middling wind and rain. I've seen much worse thunderstorms, so wasn't bad at all here.

I'm in Orlando atm, I lost internet for about 3 days, just recently came up.

Hardly much to complain about.

Treasure coast area here...Got 100+ winds but not much damage in my area or even the town as a whole it seemed. Alot without power and some hellaciously long gas lines tho.
I was very lucky and got power back on barely 8 hours after it went out but still have friends and family without.
All in all, it could have been alot worse like cancun got imho...

Treasure coast as well, most power back on now, had mine since tuesday. but it took them till friday eve to get my dsl back up :( .

eek, glad to hear we came through unscathed this time.
