I cannot friggin wait!!! The horcrux scenes should be tits, as well as the Harry/Draco conflict and the - of course - final event.

Finally! Looks good. I was wondering when they were going to release the next one. Looks to be late-fall 2008.

It's coming out in November of this year.

But the last installment, Deathly Hallows, will be split in two and not released until 2010 (though there will only be 3 months between the two).

It looks good, though the longer the books get and the movies stay the same length, so much gets cut out. I'm glad they're doing the finale in 2 parts.

Ditto!

JK said she could not imagine cutting any part of the last book out for the movie, as everything was important in it's own way in contributing to the conclusion.

I am excited!

But they've cut so much out of the story so far, ie the Hagrid story line, the intrigue with the Ministry of Magic, how can they tie that back in to the Deathly Hollows?

I'm probably the only 'dork' that I know that hasn't read or seen anything to do with Harry Potter.

I have only watched the movies.

I saw the movies when they hit video, and enjoyed the story that way. When the last book came out tho', I decided to have a look at it. I was about halfway through it and went and grabbed the previous six books in a box set, and read them all straight through.

JK Rowling is a hell of a writer.

I am going to be re-reading "The Half Blood Prince" and "The Deathly Hallows" as the movies are ready to come out.

As to the intrigue with the Ministry of Magic, I think they might be able to touch on that with the last two (three) movies, although it has been hinted at with the scenes showing Malfoy being cozy with the Minister, and Malfoy being a known follower of Voldemort.

I recommend the books to anyone that enjoys the genre'. The movies are a nice bonus to have available.
