I don't recall Sabertooth ever being experimented on. I thought he was a natural mutant from the onset ( tho later his claws were imbued with the same material as Wolverine had throughout his bone structure).

I wonder why they didn't use the same actor from the 3 Xmen movies.

the actor was horrible. Sabertooth was part of weapon X he did have more feral abilities, he was laced with adamatium then later "turbo'd" but that was a lame story line.

im screaming FOUL!!!! Wolverine is supposed to be a shorter guy...so hugh jackman not so bad, but Sabertooth is a big big man. Cotton Weiry (spelling) is a HORRIBLE choice.

That's my initial feeling on actor selection Grey.

Sabertooth is supposed to be a monster compared to Wolverine. Hugh Jackman is a 6 footer, and Marvel has Sabertooth listed as 6'6 and weighing 275 lbs. To get the right effect, that's need someone at least 7 feet tall, and weighing 375, since Wolverine is supposed to be about 5'3 and 195 lbs w/o the adamantium....

I don't know of any actors that are 7foot and agile enough to move as Sabertooth would move.

Someone from Pro Wrestling would be the only 1 I could think that would fit the bill. They'd have to CGI or wire rig the guy to make him move faster.

Guy I'm thinking of likely couldn't act to save his life but he certainly fits the bill of size.

Brock Lesner! Maybe he could just move his lips and they find someone to dub a voice.

nm Lesner is only 6'3 and 265. He looks much bigger than that.

Yeah, I would think he's a mountain.

You'd need someone the size of Undertaker to really fit that bill, but he's getting kind of long in the tooth....

His eyes? He looks almost exactly like the comic.

I think he's referring to the red "blaze" you'd see in Gambits eyes more times than not.

Recently I think they've chosen to express that was only to show his power manifesting.

Looking back at a few of my books, yeah he does have a red glow. But that's unrealistic in the movie world, I wouldn't be surprised if he glows red when he's fighting - just if he glowed while playing cards people would probably get the fuck out of that casino.

he is supposed to have black eyes with red, slit like pupils. Gambit is my favorite xman :P
