I thought the bosox would take the division this year. They're done. Hell, the are shopping wells now which is like a human white flag :(

Then again, I thought the angels would win the west, but they made NO moves pre-deadline and sealed their fate (they really needed a bat).

And my call of the Braves making a run at the wild card was a bomb as well :(

/finger Houston for trying to shop Clemons and Oswalt before the deadline (bet that is a tense clubhouse atm).

I wouldn't call Ortiz a position starter though yeah it hurts a ton to lose him.

I feel ya. I've followed the Royals since back in the George Brett days when there were 2 divisions and the ALCS was usually the Royals and Yankees.

Nowadays the Royals seem to be everyone else's farm team :p
