Thief is the ability you are referencing.

My brute fights in the daily arena battles, does pretty well untill he comes up against a person that either has a net , one of those tragic potions, or two pets as seen here

hehe yea, I have a blast when I get my 3 fights in (*well when ever the web site is up and running*). I have my few brute squade I like to fight with .. my fav atm is Kentrix mah low hit points bad ass :D

They reboot at 4pm mst and there is a bit O lag at that time. Then they take it all down daily at 8pm mst for maint ( at which time they run the first 4 rounds of the daily tourny ).

It's fun, but in my usual obsessive way I created well over 300 toons to try and get a group of brutes with skills I wanted to watch play out.

I have aprox 20 or so now I'm leveling up, it's like survivor island if you don't win you're voted off ( my list heh )

It takes about 5 minutes to have your fights..... and about 15 minutes to get past the "brutal" Loading error..... but after that it is entertaining for the 5 min :)

There is also an ability that makes pets run and leave fights, happend to me a few times

Cry of the Damned is the ability you are referring to. There is also hypnotize which will allow the brute to take over control of one of your pets!

I love thief, nothing better than jumping up , stealing the flail and beating the holy hell out of the previous owner.

Pissing me off now, last 4 level up's all i've gotten is skill points and no new abilities. Palarran the only reason your winning 70% of those fights is the +50 HP's you have. well that and when you thief my club you bastage!
but no worries man i'll keep coming. you need the free XP anyways.

how do some level 1's have FULL agility bars?

There are 3 seperate innate skills for each. Str/agi/dex?. Those skills will boost that seperate bar.

I always, if possible, avoid the brutes with high AGI as that means they'll take extra swings and avoid your attacks ( I'm guessing here )

Sadly no, hell you should get points for each round you win in a tourney imho and zero points for the pupiling thing ...imho.
