Well just so everyone knows the players who play EQ are usually not the problem. It is the way sony runs things. Anyways, massive trains have already been done (<a href="http://www.justhello.com/banned/dsp_eq_banned_index.aspx" target="_new">Two other stories are show here</a>) and the trains really just ruin other peoples day. Harrasing customer service is far less assholish than ruining the days of people who still like the game.

gm's suck because VI doesn't give them the power to do anything, if you think 1 gm is better then another it is because that 1 has the power , there is teirs of gm powers , most are just like rent-a-cops, or security gurads at a mall, IF they cant talk out your problem they will call the real cops.

The Junior Guides, Guides and Senior Guides are NOT employees of Sony Online Entertainment.
All GMs, every single one of them, is an employee of Sony Entertainment. And every single one of them got GM powers. There are just some things a GM cannot solve, or cannot solve right now, has to check back on logs, has to ask technical guys blabla.

Guides however do not have a lot of powers because they are not eployees of SoE. Therefore SoE does not have any contracts with them, they dont work at the SoE Headquarters and so on, it would be dangerous with no end to give guides too many powers. It is pretty easy to become a guide. Yes it takes some skills and experience and you have to really learn it and work for it, but after all, its pretty easy. So when you have like 500 people running around being Guides, people you don't know, people that proved being ok people, but still poeple you don't know, then you do not want them to have too many powers and fuck up your game which earns you 10million a month!

I don't know why.. but that story made me miss Vallric, lol

i met of the soe employees at E3, as we were leaving some guy noticed the everquest bead necklaces they were giving away on my friend and they told us they were employees...etc...one guy said he was a GM on torv server, seemed cool but that doesn't make me love the guides or senior guides or even GMs on our server, they still suck, realistically they should call guides "instruction manuals" because they dont do anything but read off the manual to newbs...Granted Brioma actually does shit but the rest just lick sac all day.

...most of the administrative staff that isn't volunteer (your "real" GMs) make entry-level wages, because it's entry-level work. The guide-level people do it for $13/month -- the cost of their free account.

I don't know what sort of "huge stack" you get at $13/month, but unless you're hiring Bangladeshi children to make shoes, $13/month isn't exactly a lot.

I play tons of roleplaying games myself but once again remember ITS A JOKE. If you don't find it funny then just ignore it like you would to any bad joke you hear.
