Long posts make baby Jesus cry, but I have another 20 minutes before my priest is well rested so here goes.

In my EW goodbye thread I was gonna flame indificual people and give props to others, but I had to go get my haircut and then was gonna go over to mow the lawn for my parents before it got dark so I had to shorten it up a bit.

I had a bunch of good ones too, it's the kinda shit that woulda made people in old skool CB laugh. Unfortunately alot of EW's idea of fun is sitting around the campfire, holding hands and singing Kum Bay Yah.

I think the last straw was when I did a cyber mistell for kicks and giggles and the person threatened me saying they were good friends with a head GM and I was going to get into alot of trouble for what I just said. I mean, who takes offence at the words "Spooge missle?"

Aparently I hit alot of nerves, because I got a lot of fuck you's and good riddances, hell, people even started harassing Soulki. I have email, irc and 4 forms of instant messages and people decide to start trash-talking me to one of my dearest friends. And we're not talking about joking around trash-talking, like, "Vhex that fuck." We're talking viscious shit that's normally reserved for confessions.

I'd go into details of the how's and why's blah blah blah blah etc...all I ask is that you think long and hard about what you knew about me Kayler. Have I ever flamed someone seriously? It's always been a giggle fest for me. If you walked face first into a patio door I'd laugh while asking you if you were alright. EW made me out to be some cruel monster because I'd laugh.

Besides, either way I was going to retire soon. WoW is just way too fun with or without people. EQ is just not fun unless my friends are on and most of them I can talk to on IM's, in WoW, EQ2, etc...and when most of your encounter strats come from Conquest or TR or whatever the uberguild on Lanys is, it takes all the fun out of exploring new content out of the game which was pretty much the sole reason I was staying with EW.

Ebay only crossed my mind when I realized I needed a web server and that I'd really like to have all the seasons of Stargate SG:1 on DVD so I could watch them all again before Atlantis comes out this summer. I imagine people on my goodbye thread have posted that they can't wait for me to ebay my WoW account. Of course I will. In about 5 years from now when Realms of Owniness is released, blows WoW out of the water and I find myself guilded with people just for the sake of being guilded...I'm gonna jump ship and keep in touch with my friends.

I think the best part was the title of my thread. "For Phelonius, with love." The guy told me in game that he normally voted no on anybody with ebay in their history out of principle, but because he liked me so much he just wasn't gonna vote at all. I was amazed, it was so cool to have such a jackass tell you you're alright. Then I make full member and find out he voted no on me anyways...makes you feel really loyal to a guild don't it.

At least I've always had the balls to state I was gonna ebay, instead of claiming I was just going to retire or take a little break or just stop showing up altogether...or worse privately selling and not telling anyone about it until a few weeks later when the new owner sells.
