We have our own tactic. We always have it. One of the reasons why we do not want our members to join any raids that kill mobs we haven't killed is so idiots like you dont get food for thoughts. We killed Bert our way. We don't ever take any tips from anyone other then from members in the guild. We have an own forum for tactics and discussions on mobs, youknow and we come up with our own ideas. I have no clue how swifton and co killed Bert but it sure has nothing to do with our style.
Second. Turul/Landslide tactic? Hello? Are you nuts? How the hell do you get on that?! I guess zerging is the very last tactic my guild uses to kill mobs.
Not to zerg and not to take over any tactics from anyone (not even safehouse and such) is part of the way LotJ works. Its part of our philosophy.

We killed Bert, with 58 people, with our own tactic, at attempt #5.

You're absolutly right let me share the strat which LS and TL used with you:
Take 50 LS peeps then take 65 TL peeps make 2 raids go down with 115 to Bert and zerg.

We streamlined that tactic a bit and made 1 raid of 58 and zerged, but I must give credit to LS/TL for the tactic, it worked great.

Heh, what kind of strat do you need for Bert? I am but a humble rogue, but to me it looks like:
1) Kill lots of stuff really fast for 90 minutes.
2) Kill a boss mob that is not really all that unique (but has a bitchin' model!)

Oh shit, I gave away our strat, now everyone is gonna kill him.

No, the tough part about this fight is execution (and stamina). It is also highly DPS dependent, which makes LOTJ's accomplishment all that much more impressive, seeing that they are the first guild on the server to do Bert without VT gear (AFAIK).

We killed Bert our 2nd try.. The first try we had caprin trained on us on top of being new to the encounter.

Not an easy thing to beat on the first try as I'm sure LoJ and others will say.

We did very well beating it on our 2nd try :D I'm happy.
