Grats FoD from an old Ranger in hiding...
Oh, and I have to agree with Talid. If you're still doing Time IvM and RiP you're really really really dragging your feet. There are/is better and more interesting content to be doing.

Huh? Fandros, you're full of shit. There's no "should" about what those guilds "should" be doing any more than how EW "should" be alive. You're pretty arrogant to assume that those guilds should be doing something other than what they need to do to survive, and even more so to assume a guild of 70+ people should hold themselves up to your own dick-measuring code of honor.

Rol, kindly to remove your large AntiEW pole from your ass bud.
I've nothing but respect for most of who remain in your fine guilds. But I am hearing, and yes you've been blissfully blind to this AGAIN, how folks want to move on from BORING content.
Jesus dude, you still don't posess the leadership skills it would take to lead your own hand to clean tolietpaper to wipe your own ass do ya?
Kindly to be fucking off now...
Thanks ;)

Time does seem like a huge waste of time now. But for others, alot of upgrades remain from that zone. People that 2 and 3 box are thankful we still hit Time 1 day a week. Guild rookies are seeing alot of upgrades from that zone. You really can't beat the loot for the time invested in that zone. Just us old folks that don't need anything from their anymore. Going to Time still makes the guild stronger atm.
But for one day a week. Nobody complains.

Does it really matter lol? Last time I did Time pre lvl 70 we cleared it in roughly 3.5 hours..done deal.
3.5 hours every what 5 days? Isn't a big deal and the gear is nice for the effort. When I quit my guild was still doing Time for recruits and for clickers..when GOD and Trials/Anquish timers are ticking what else is there to do?!
Good job FOD enjoy candy land and those damn Zek brothers.

Fandros, I have no anti-EW pole in my ass. I do have an anti-arrogance pole firmly lodged in there, however, and it's hemorrhaging. :( I'm also not sure what my leadership skills have to do with this. Thanks anyways, though, "bud."

Congratulations FoD.
Because, beside LDON which had lockouts, there was absolutely nothing else to raid. We stopped doing time pretty much the week after GoD was released.
Zones like Time are such a bitch because you really have a double edged sword there. You have the people who want everyone to get every item they want out of the zone then you have the people who want to progress and those people are usually the ones who have the items in time due to dkp/attendance/whatever so it just makes other people resentful of them because the people who want X item think that the person with that item want to move on because they already have said item. Unfortunately, while waiting for every warrior to get a quarm range or something, you lose people because they want to progress so you have to keep equipping new people to take that spot so you spend more time in Time and more people keep leaving because of it. It's a bitch but we saw it in EW also.

I don't see how going there for a few hours one day a week will hold back a guild's progression. It's a good way to bring newer members up to a certain baseline level of gear quickly. People need that level of gear to not be a liability on newer encounters (especially ones that test the depth of a raid instead of a few core people), and we'd have missed out on a number of good players if we required everyone to be fully geared before applying. It lets us prioritize other things when considering recruits--we can say that gear will come over time, and look more at skill and personality.
In any case, it's nice to kick back and do something easy once in a while. We have the rest of the week to work on new GoD/OoW stuff.
(Oh, and back to the original topic, congratulations FoD!)

Good point Pal, I'm afraid I was guilty of applying my old paradigms to Time. When it took us intially 3 total days to clear through time. Now that everyone is 70 and it's done in a few measly hours it's likely not nearly the drain on a guilds morale. Unless of course you've been doing it for 6+ months and most the items rot. Then well it's plain silly, and yes we seen it in EW and still had folks wanting to live there.

I have to say it is nice to know that PoT is not a zone that sits with no one in it .....yet. :)

We had time down to 5 hours but it wasn't worth that 5hours because that zone sucks.
I can't imagine it is any more fun now when Quarm is a fucking green con.

Gratz again my Fellow Dragons! Isn't it sooo wonderful that a thread starting with a gratz has turned into a bitch session? Once we start hitting Time, I myself will not be going just for loots, but for the new content I have never seen. That is one of the many reasons I still play this game: There is still something new and interesting to see for me...
Anyhow, I am happy we made it and that we are still having a blast playing. See you in game guys n gals!

So when you are still in Time 6 months from now, will you still be saying this? Time is hell on guilds, be thankful for the new Virtual Flagging system.
