A "twink" is an alt a higher level main has passed loot to that alt couldn't have gotten at it's level.

So since I used to play a lvl 65 Enchanter and I was board with playing a caster and wanted to melee some. I made an alt SK named "Twinked" the name stuck so I twinked my SK. Hence the name..
