The books are VASTLY better than the movies - and reading exercises your biggest muscle!
(I'll see this opening day or shortly there after, but make sure you read the books first!)

I dont think there is one person who doesnt agree with this statement, books are always better because its more detailed and you get a chance to understand the characters and there worlds.
I personally wouldnt care if say a movie about Harry Potter was a 4 hour movie just to stay 100 percent true to the book. I would sit my ass down for the 4 hours and enjoy it immensly (sp). I mean come on you took out PEEVES??!?! WTF

I just ordered my iMAX tickets for Spider Man 3; the next movie they will show is the Harry Potter one and in 3D... tickets aren't on sale yet but when they are we'll be going. My kid read books 1 thru 6 and has already made me preorder her copy of book 7. For those who haven't yet... you can do so by clicking here. I'll have the 7th book read 24-48 hours after it shows up that morning :)
But I hate to admidt I prefered the LOTR movies to the books for the most part :(

The books just go off on tangents with those songs and nonsense. Now Tom Bombadil being left out sucked of course - but I like the visuals of the battles far more than the ones I created in my head :)
