My time in EQ has drawn to a close. First, no, Dfrac is not for sale. He is a labor of love into which I have poured over 4.5 years and 280 days and I will not soil my fond and enduring memories by letting some clown buy him.
There are many, many people who made the game for me. I won't remember you all at one sitting, and I don't really plan on editing this post, so please forgive me if I fail to mention you here. You are a part of my collective love for the game, even if I cannot recall specifics at this time.
Vision/VA: Thanks for having me. Thanks for having me back. You embody a lot of very, very fine ideals. You never demanded more than I could give, and were always there for me when I needed you. Much love to you guys, and best wishes. You will always know that you earned your rewards without compromising your core values, and what could be better than that?
Imperial Order: Wow, what fun it was to see what happens to an up-and-coming guild when its core of leaders drops the playerbase on its ass with no plan for succession. No, I'm not bitter...
Casus Belli: You let me in despite the fact that you flat plain didn't need me. And once I was in, you treated me with respect and as a friend. Gandien, I wish to hell I could have gotten to know you, you had an amazing thing going there. Hats off to you and all the other nutcases that made it such a wild ride. And fuck Fennin Ro, anyway.
To all the individuals who touched my life, thanks. I still wonder what the hell I ever did or said to merit the kindness you showed me. I never felt lost or lonely in this game, someone was always there.
Real life demands my full attention now, and I cannot play EQ casually. So, best to drop it. Good luck and godspeed!
