I'm just curious...

I remember Halloween events with Royal Pumpkins, and werewolfs flooding the commonlands, but I haven't heard anything of them this year, and there are very little last year. I've quit EQ, but I'm still curious.. Did they not hold Halloween GM events again?

When i was in WC yesterday, there was a message about the ground shaking as a horde of skeletons rose from th egrave or some such shit.

That werewolve shit got played out after the werewolf valentines day event.

The best event they did was about 3 years ago, which took over a bunch of zones. Since then creativity went way downhill ...

City of Heroes did a big "trick or treat" thing where big pumpkin beasts ran around throwing flaming pumpkins at superheroes, as well as the ability to (in costume, mind you) click on a doorway and get either a treat (LDoN style enhancements, instant-click rez or heal or atk buff "potions", etc.) or a trick -- a bunch of zombies or werewolves breaking down the door to kick your ass :)

The Realm had faeries dropping pumpkins with goodies. I dunno if EQ2 had anything, or any other games, since I do not play them, but its obvious where Sony's attention is focused anymore.

I played Guild Wars and for there Halloween sprise they turned off the servers! SUPRISE! ehehhe

I miss GM events. When they were done well (which I admit was rarely), they were a lot of fun.
