Happy new year!!! I lost about 5 acre's of land to fire 2 pecan tree, but my 3 ancient live oaks made it. Also going to have to remove a trailor i put out on the property it was full of smoke and well i do nto want to have to clean it. also lost part of a hay barn lost all the hay. All i can say is if a burn ban is in place please listen to it. Some kids lighting fireworks set my neighbors property on fire and it spilled over to mine. I am lucky i have house in the city i live in and my land is my get away and i have insurance that will replace the fence and trailor but some may not be that lucky.
