Even better than lead paint in children's toys is this (http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/18228652/)
TORONTO - Doris Moore was shocked when her new couch was delivered to her home with a label that used a racial slur to describe the dark brown shade of the upholstery.
The situation was even more alarming for Moore because it was her 7-year-old daughter who pointed out “n----- brown” on the tag.Wishful thinking: Al Sharpton goes to China to protest. China keeps him.

Moore wants compensation
Moore is consulting with a lawyer and wants compensation. Last week, she filed a report with the Ontario Human Rights (http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/18228652/#) Commission.Commission spokeswoman Afroze Edwards said the case is in the initial stages and could take six months to two years to resolve.

Moore, 30, has three young children, and said the issue has taken a toll on her family.

“Something more has to be done. We don’t just need a personal apology, but someone needs to own up to where these labels were made, and someone needs to apologize to all people of color,” Moore said. “I had friends over from St. Lucia yesterday and they wouldn’t sit on the couch.”Up to this part, I might have felt sympathy for her. Sure, the word on the tag was offensive, but at some point, get a grip! Move one with your life already.

We as a Politically Correct society give words WAY too much power.

Kill the ignorance! How? Stop giving these words such power over people. Take a page out of the homosexuals book. You'll quite often hear gay people refer to themselves as queer. Twenty years ago it would be considered an insult, now it's part of the name of an HBO series.

There are no bad words, just bad thoughts! Thank you George Carlin! ;)
