I moved and won't be getting cable back for a few more weeks, so all my screenshots and stuff are on hold for now. I've got a shitload from WoW and 'that other game' once the NDA is lifted, but it's mostly just me and Wilderness Company or Drizzen.

To be honest, other then WC, I haven't met anybody from CB in either game.

Finished College in May, got hired to teach HS band in June (on my first interview). I have a 55 pally who I haven't touched in a while now. Played WoW stress test beta (loved it) and I've reserved the collector's edition- doubt I'll have much time to play, though.
If you guys are curious I love my job as high school band director. The former director was there 26 years so I'm filling some big shoes. It's a medium/smallish town (about 700 in the HS) - I've got huge support from the parents, administration etc. The biggest accomplishment there is www.royalblues.org (http://www.royalblues.org/) which was student designed and is student maintained. I run a Concert Band, Jazz Band and Marching Band at the HS and teach the elementary lessons. We've got a beautiful new recording studio with a MusicXPC from sweetwater and a Digi002 with ProTools LE which is allowing us to do some pretty neat stuff with the kids. If you check out the site later in the year I should have some recordings up.
So Marching Band till the end of October, then finally getting married in December.
So it's been a slow year.

I havnt gotten to play anything WoW related, I didnt even know about the stress test till it was to late. Also I didnt get in beta.

So, I was thinking about picking WoW. I know NOTHING about it however. Post some screenshots or something Zehn^^

As for WoW, the open beta was announced yesterday, and should start soon, so there's a free way to check it out.

I was going to say- I loved the WoW stress test. It's a shame it ended so soon. I played a dwarf pally (no surprise there- tried a rogue, but it's always been my style to melee and heal) I have to say, their idea of a paladin syncs alot more with what my notion of one is. I felt, even from level 1, that I had choices (unlike EQ, where pallies aren't really viable till about level 50). I had to say, the game really gave me a sense of 'WOW' (no pun intended) that I hadn't had since I made my first character in Kaladim. Some of my favorite moments thus far were running up to Ironforge, seeing the city (which is huge and beautiful- lots of detail) and flying on the back of a griffon to see the human city. I'd imagine this sense of wonder would wear off after a while but the style really sticks on you. I loved the fact that I could play for 2 or 3 hours and feel like I had gotten something done. I loved how much emphasis was placed on questing and that I had the choice to do real quests (and not spend hours saying 'hail' 'what spoon of ultimate destruction?' 'how spoon of ultimate destruction'? 'my mother is a spoon of ultimate destruction' 'have you seen my baseball'? (at which point the NPC finally responds) I loved how the quests always seemed to open up new areas of exploration. I loved the sense of 'fear' that was induced from checking out new areas- and the fact that if I died, I wouldn't have to spend 5 hours just to recover my corpse if I didn't want to.
Hope this helps you out Yasp- I really think you would dig a mage or any other number of classes.
