Just a heads up and reminder, new season of Heroes starts this Monday, besure to set your DVRs :D

I am liking the direction this show is going as of last nights new episode. Bout time they have them all moving towards working together and not a billion separate mini stories spread out across the country, day in and day out. It was great for the first season to get to know them, but for there 3rd season it was getting a bit annoying.
This episode really felt like a new beginning, or at least where it should have went after the first season.

Oh I loved this episode and loved Peter enjoying the buffett of other powers to return to his powerful self.

I was wondering when it became a requirement for Peter to actually touch someone instead of be near them to asorb their power?

That was his father's power. I wonder if he doesn't have his old power anymore since getting the virus injection (ability to siphon powers and hold them indefinately), just now has the ability to touch someone and absorb their power and presumably only use one at a time. Who knows. If he survives the crash we'll know which way his powers go.

Ahhh that's how they captured Heiro so easily. I forgot he'd lost his powers to Papa Patrelli. Ando has a power now, somehow Heiro has to regain his!

Best Superbowl commercial ever. Last night's episode was really good I thought too.

The Superbowl commercial with singing cast members from the channel Heroes is on was great. Loved the part Heiro sang as well as HRG!

I agree that the initial episode of the season was great, and the possibilities in having so many of them together as a group offers much more; it was getting tiring jumping from one to another and their little dramas.

And, once again we have reason to be grateful for cheerleaders! Save the world; then save the planeload of heroes.

Now that we're in two episodes I gotta say I love it so far, but I kinda feel like the Haitian should have been with the lot of them from that plane crash. He's a great character.

I am not believing that Daphne is out yet; why would they have fleshed out her character (the leg braces and home life) if she was going to be so temporary, unless it was to make someone else even more sympathetic perhaps.

It is looking good so far. With a Tuesday night (Fringe) and two Friday night (Doll House and BSG) shows to fill the space between, it will be easier to put up with a whole week until questions might get answered.

Yup its back to thier old format again.. I just hpe this time that they dont go like 3 or 4 shows with out a char being seen or heard from. Last nights show was ok, but I think it could of been better.

Last night was okay - no real solid story or plot, just more development. I got that vibe that Noah has an ability too.

The graphic novels on NBC.com hint that Noah used to have a power involving his vision but lost it in an accident.

What the hell happened to Nathan. He's become a menace.

Apparently next episode Matt will read HRG's mind while he's in captivity and which may lead to us finding out all about that power Noah has / used to have.

I find it kind of lame, it showed her getting shot up like 3 or 4 times .. and from what was said and seen in the flash back in last night show .. it was only a sholder wound....

Fild, my girlfriend kinda checked out on it too. She still watches it with me (because she has to!) but she says its not nearly season 1. I still love it though.

I heard George Takei on Howard Stern today they were saying the ratings are very low this season. Both of them agreed that the writers seem to have lost their creativity and passion.

I'd have to agree, it's lost it's zest.

However it's lead in show "Chuck" has been very fun to watch this year.

Yeah Elemak, she's "Wireless" that I keep mentioning. She was in a few episodes in season 1 as well, she helped Ted Sprague (exploding man) find Matt Parkman. That being said, Stana Katic (the actress who played her) is currently starring in Castle, a new show coming out on ABC, and may not likely be returning. Noah Gray-Cabey, who played Micah, hasn't been in anything since - so his return may be more likely.

I read today that Noah probably doesn't have powers. The theme was taken straight out of J.K. Rowling's books: Claire, a "gifted" individual, being adopted by a family without powers (a family of muggles, to use the Harry Potter term) complete with their pet Mr. Muggles.

Maybe he's, Noah, harkening back to his old philosophy of "one of them one of us" and using Micah to fight back within the system?

That is very possible, because Micah certainly wouldn't have known everything there is to know like that Hiro went off to India and stuff. Angela would have being a precog, and I can't help but think Noah is working for her.

That makes alot of sense, maybe add in the Haitian as muscle later?

The Haitian more than any other member of the cast not appearing thus far this season is very surprising.

Nope, there were 3 biological triplet sisters: Niki, Tracy, and Barbara

Niki somehow ended up with Hal Sanders (adoption, etc) and his biological daughter Jessica. Niki never knew she was adopted or what have you. Hal was a drunk and beat Jessica to death once. Her power was super strength, and she had Dissociative Identity Disorder, and died in the show.

Tracy's powers are frost. Barbara's powers are unknown but you see a picture of her in a few episodes.

OMG, so Angela Petrelli stealing socks in the beginning episodes is finally explained!!!!

The whole plotline with her sister was actually very interesting, and I expect to see her again. Perhaps she swoops in to save the day forgiving her sister one day???

All in all a great episode.

To be honest, there isnt much of a story line left or that can be made with the way the season has been going, random flashing around from char to char and full episodes of flash backs from 10+ years ago is getting old and played out.
Dnt get me wrong I loved the show, but its tiem for them to bow down and que the music ;)

The news is good when it comes to Heroes. NBC entertainment president Angela Bromstad has said the series will be picked up. Mind you, that hasn't happened yet. But despite falling ratings, the series has bounced back creatively, and Heroes does well overseas. Also an extra season will add additional episodes, making it appealing to affiliates in the syndication market. That said, if the series is renewed, look for a shortened season of 18-20 episodes, allowing NBC to save some money. It's also likely that Heroes will lose its timeslot, perhaps to the new NBC post-apocalyptic drama, Day One.

Talk about season ending plot twist, it ended pretty good, but could of been better. Once again we were left with so many unanswered question and unknown status of people, but I guess they served and had thier 15 mins of fame

Sylar was trying to get who he thught was the President's DNA to shape shift into him while he was shakign his hand, he turned into Peter for a brief sec just befor Peter tranq'ed him

And for why the tranq worked on him.. you know that is a very good question. I guess it was one of those things that the directer hope noone was really paying attention to and wolud forget / over look it :D

Another thing I was thinking is.. if they used Adams and Claire's blood in the past to bring both Nathan and Noah back to life, so why not use her blood again, heck ever use Sylar's blood seeing that it also has Claire's blood in him from when he used it to get his power back active:confused:

Ice Queens return could be very interesting. Bobby DRake aka Ice Man got shattered (twice) and he was insane for a little while in the comic books due to this, so wonder if they are going that direciton

Sylar's "ending", I'm not a fan of it. I know I am not the only one who wanted PEter, Nathan and Sylar to fight and us watch Peter grab Sylar, and get a big grin and then they go at it superhero style with tons of effects, but alas..../sigh. It looks like Peter is still stuck on 1 power, as his final line to Sylar indicated that Sylar should be surprised that he took that power.

The Company reformation is interesting. My prediciton Parkman is Noah's new partner aka Noah/The Haitian version 2.0. They use the fact the Companies resources can protect his family.

And my final comment....oh seriously WTF did Nathan say to the president. "Hey bud, i am a mutant like the ones i been telling you are dangerous, and my lying about my truth kinda proves this. So give me funding to fix this to a way thats more humane to the people with powers..kkthx"

Last week was the season finale. Its over until the fall.

Heroes was picked up for another season recently. Hoping Chuck is also as fortunate, won't find out till the 19th of this month.

Every break has ended with a new chapter. The winter break is the end of one chapter and the spring break as well.

FINALLY MOHINDER IS BACK!!! and i swear to all that is holy they better not kill off Hiro...

I have to say it took a few episodes, but I'm enjoying this season much more then the past few. Samuel is a pretty good character, not sure what it is, could just be the actor, but he's got a hook. And they've finally realized that more Sylar=better.

Though Sylar laughing in Parkman's body was one of the most unintentionally funny things I've seen in a while. That wasn't meant to be taken seriously.... was it?

Claire and Gracie making out was a nice "OMG!' bit of writing, but there was an episode I enjoyed even more.....


the episode where the nice hearing impaired lady (doctor going incognito) discovers her own 'gift' and is playing the cello on the sidewalk; she seemed to have a way of touching those within earshot with her music which I found appealing after all the other powers that have been on display.

All in all, I was disappointed that this show appears to be going in a downward spiral, without any distinct plot line or focus, but instead half a dozen. I believe the next season may well be the last, and hopefully they will at least try to tie some things together in a conclusive manner.

I think its time they wrap up the show, been a good ride.
