I'm the type of person who lets a lot slide, but this wasn't a 'cute' joke. It was very ugly and hurtful (gee, let's insinuate that all black people are criminals and we'd be better off aborting them!). It was in a thread not labelled as a 'dirty joke' thread, and could, in my mind, have easily been considered hate speech. People have, in the past, been banned from this board for such... so yes, considering this board's traditional stance on such, (as well as the fact that 'I got sand in my pussy' as you put it), I felt that it was appropriate to bring it up to the mods. I feel reasonably sure that Selwen would have deleted such without my intervention...

The post made earlier today, while perhaps a joke in the mind of the poster, clearly was (hateful), and I didn't feel that sort of speech belonged on the boards.

Nydia is one of the most fair individuals I have ever met. Her actions of bringing a thread to a Mod's attention were just. If one person is offended then they should have a choice not to see the offensive content. There are explicit advisory warnings on albums and such for this very reason. By posting hateful and racist remarks on an otherwise innocent topic you accomplish the same thing as any other hate group in america; you force people who don't want to hear it, to listen to it by broadcasting publicly. Good job mods and kudos Nydia.
