HOLY SHIT!
Halo you better buy a gun!!!
Similar to a scare originally found in Cambodia back in 2005 (http://web.archive.org/web/20050428004220/http://65.127.124.62/south_asia/4483241.stm.htm), victims of a new strain of the swine flu virus H1N1 have been reported in London.
After death, this virus is able to restart the heart of it’s victim for up to two hours after the initial demise of the person where the individual behaves in extremely violent ways from what is believe to be a combination of brain damage and a chemical released into blood during “resurrection.”
The World Health Organization (WHO) has raised the alert to phase six, its highest level, and advised governments to activate pandemic contingency plans.

I love L4D. So much fun. If you check steam you can get it on sale now and then too. Even at full price though I love it. Wish there was more horror fps games.

I don't understand how people can play shooters on consoles.

On the Wii, I'd say it was the most realistic. Having to actually point, and pull the trigger, while maintaining your target would be the best.
All they would need to do then, is come up woth some sort of force feedback to mimic the recoil of your shot. Bigger recoil for bigger guns you get, in game....
Oh, and the last FPS I played that I really enjoyed was Thief II...

- Everytime I play against my mate on his Xbox on CoD, he thrashes me. The thing is, I've owned him for years whenever we played on our PCs, but now he's got a shitty console...I just can't get the aim on target in anything short of 10 hours.
Left4dead2 out this November :)
Looks good :)
PC gamer has a great article on it....

I thought this as well till I tried to play a few shooters on the Wii. None of them work that way. Metroid had you pointing the stupid wand at little arrows on the side of the screen to move around instead of using the joystick. And Resident evil had you aiming with the joystick. Totally retarded.

FPS's on consoles are tricky to get used to at first Sanchek. I played PC shooters almost exclusively, and didn't really get into console ones until the original Halo. The hardest thing for me is not having a mouse wheel scroll to change weapons with, but the left thumb/right thumb moving/aiming system works surprisingly well. Granted, I'm used to zooming the mouse in a direction to whip my view in that direction which doesn't work well with a thumbstick.
I don't like the control as much as a PC, but its definitely workable given a bit of practice. I got pretty good with the general Halo control scheme in a month or so.

pfft in Halo all I did was run up and smack people down in the back of head with my weapon. I loved that I could beat someone down that way and would almost exclusively kill people that way just b/c. This is Halo3 I'm talking about hehe....
