This made me pretty ill.

The bad thing is that it happens more often than one might think. A quick search reveals another example here (http://www.cnn.com/2003/LAW/08/19/boys.deaths.ap/index.html). I'm also pretty sure there was a college professor somewhere who forgot he was dropping the kids off and let them cook in his SUV.

What I'm waiting for is the media to make this into a "gaming killed a baby" issue, when in fact it was terrible, neglectful parenting that is responsible. Just like that guy who killed himself- his mother was a complete idiot, and so she gets press blaming everyone but herself.

Why do people have such a hard time laying the blame for crap like this where it is due? Blame the parents, don't worry about the damn headlines or the revenue stream, tell it like it is: "Sucky, neglectful parents let child die in Car" might even sell more papers for you!

I wholeheartedly agree.

What type of stupid fucking person do you have to be to let something like this happen?

Children are a huge responsibility. If these people cannont get their priorities straight, they shouldnt have fucking kids to begin with.

Pretty soon were gonna see a "Faces of death: Everquest" video.

The worst case I have seen is when the Florida man locked his baby in the closet while he played EQ. He put the baby there because it was crying and driving him nuts while he was playing. Do some research, I'm sure you'll find that one too.

Here's the thing though it's not like this is a unique thing. Stupid shit like this happens all the time now with people and gaming addictions. Don't get me wrong, I'm not one of the super soccer moms that are rallying to ban all online games, but this is kinda ridiculous people would do retarded shit. My solution would be a warning label on the box of EQ.

Warning: Dumb bitches who leave their kids in cars, closets and other enclosed areas for long periods of time, crackheads, fat bitches with a large vocabulary and a vengeance on the world, and guys who can never score and have constant thoughts of suicide running through their head should not play this video game.

Sounds good to me.

Altough, I think a better sub-title for the article would be "Mother being a stupid bitch may have lead to child's death"

Hmm...I think bitches should be changed to dumbasses, only because a dumbass can be both male or female and there have been a few cases where the *dumbass* was a man.Other then that,I agree.

While I was considering revision of the "dumb bitch" comment. Any man or woman who does a thing as stated above deserves the title "dumb bitch" regardless. So I think I'll have to go with my original statement.

Thank you

I am surprised no gaming company has been sued because of shit like this yet. Seeing as how the stupid shit that stupid people do is always someone else's fault anymore. It drives me nuts. Pretty soon every bottle of Avian will be accompanied by 10 page waiver form you have to sign off on so joe blow can't sue because he claims he didn't know water was wet.

When the war pops off, I am killing that bitch that spilled coffee on herself an sued.

If you read the disclaimer, you have to agree to every time you log in, you will see Sony has already anticipated against this kind of law sued.
It's sad but I think you might be right on the Avian.
Which offcourse will make the water 3 times as expensive, cause someone has to pay for it.

Seems it is very common. At least they didn't mention everquest- I'm surprised, I don't expect non-sensational news from CNN.
