It's gonna get interesting. I bet Bonds is glad that this will take some heat off him as everyone tries to find out the names.

And we know that Bonds isn't one of the names on Grimsley's list either as the government was trying to wire up Grimsley to attempt to dig up dirt on Bonds. Grimsley from what I've heard, claims to not know Bonds at all.
I think the most telling thing is the teams that Grimsley has been on. He was on the Phillies with Len Dykstra (who has been accused of using steroids). He was on the Indians with Albert Belle (for whom he covered up a corked bat incident) and Jim Thome (who's a hoss, I'm not saying he did juice but I wouldn't be surprised). He was on the Yankees and won a ring with them (it would be telling if he sold out some juicers on those world series teams). He was on the Royals with several dominican players (he stated that Dominicans were much more likely to use performance enhancers, be it Amphetimines or Steroids). And finally he was on the Orioles with Sammy Sosa and Raffy Palmeiro (need I say anything about these two?).
I think Grimsley may know more than Canseco did with Game of Shadows. He spoke out about 11-13 people in his report to the feds, but some people that know baseball are saying this thing could bring down HUNDRED'S of ball players, none of which are named Bonds.
The positive thing about this for Bonds is that it may help to reduce what has become a lynch mob directed at him. Baseball and the Fed's have focused on him because of his numbers which won't help get to the root problem of all the issues. They have attempted to make Bonds the fall guy, and this will help put the whole steroid issue into a grander perspective. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying Bonds is innocent, but I don't think by any means should he be the fall guy for a whole generation of players that felt the need to use performence enhancers. We also have to keep in mind, until September 2001, performence enhancers weren't against the rules of Major League Baseball. I'm not saying that using them were right, I just think MLB should focus on people using after Sept. 2001 when it was against the rules. I think focusing on Bonds is very hypocritical for the game as MLB almost tacitly allowed doping to occur by turning a blind eye for what's looking like almost 20 years of doping.
