Nothing against any of yas, I am just wondering how many are out there besides Beo, Wien, Pinches? Sounds like a Vision Reunioin to me.

I used to play. I was a level 60 druid when I quit (this was before PoP). I was in Vision, too, so I think you're right about the Vision Reunion. ;)

I still have my retired character a de-leveled 50 human cleric - stopped playing full time on ARo about 7 months ago or so.

I quit playing a couple months ago, though people are ragging on me to start up again.

I used to be Wuin/Osgiliath.

Was In Sanguine Crusaders since it's inception on CT. Also been in Amalgam of Force. Tried my hands at Valiant Crusaders, Imperial order, Knights of Evermore, Swift Avengers. All after SC went tits up. Played 4 years. Highest toon was Wuin at lvl 48. LOL. Damn 50 hour work weeks. Account is in the safe hands of a good friend in CB who already has a toon higher then I have ever seen. Been retired 3 1/2 months or so.

Quit maybe a year and a half ago, and ebayed a couple months after due to financial reasons. Bought Wliten back about 8 months later. Played some, and faded out of the game in Feb of this year. Account is still mine, sitting doing nothing.

Oh, and Wliten is/was lvl 59 necro.

I think what you meant to say was 75% of the people who quit come back in 2 weeks. In reality, it would seem the number of actually RETIRED people isn't too high. Most come back after a while, adapt a new character if they ebayed, and just start over. Try as I might, I just can't play the damn game anymore.

Too bad, it was a blast.

I rarely ever log on anymore.Maybe once a month to say hi to peeps,but I cant remember the last time I logged on and actually played.probly 8 months or so.

I started on Karana then moved to Ayonae Ro on the massive movelog. I quit about a year ago maybe more i know it was some time before PoP came out. The boards are still entertaining to read.
I like to picture the people who get all heated over a few lines of text with their faces all red frantically bashing at the keys like the phantom of the opera to type out their next insult.

I'm another one to add to the list, 62 SK, quit nearly 6 months ago now, give or take a quarter of a year.

I was on Karana server back in '99, moved to Aro with Wolf Pack (ARRrrrooooo), but spent most of the time with Vea Victis, which then became IvM. Played 4-5 months after that, and called it quits. PoP came out and i came back, made it to 65 and officially retired. If you see me running around with SoT, thats my brother 2 boxing me. I still enjoy trolling the boards and reading all the big guilds' sites seeing whats new in EQ.

I was and am Valentinez, used to be on Cazic-Thule then went to Ayonae Ro with the server split and ran with Taltos/Vae Victus.

Yeah, I do still play Val too. :)

More people probably know me as Val than Karrma, o'course...

I still try to play... as Lummus or Summul.

I joined the military, and thus get moved around a whole lot more. Having duty days where I have to stand watches etc also cut in a bit. It makes it difficult to keep on track with the game and guilds etc etc. The breaks do allow the game to stay fresh though, as I am not on long enough to get burned out. Right now I am actually hoping to play regularly again, perhaps in two weeks.

I retired about 8 months ago, I guess. Started in June of 99 on Karana, and moved to ARo with Allied Giants. When things shook up there, I moved to Divine Legion and then on to FD for awhile before finally hanging it up. Think I retired at lvl 56. A friend has the account now, but just uses it to two box alts. She doesn't play Nemaj. He's done.

I used to be Creeklass...started on Karana and moved with Parce and Wolfpack. Did some Zommy guilds (lots of fun, but I couldn't handle the fighting) and was in Vision when I quit...I think Creek made it to 55 or so.

I still check out the boards about once a month. EQ was fun...and some cool people...and the drama is fun to watch.

Revellie, 55 or 56 druid, wifes account Ginnie 55 warrior. both retired since December 11, 2002, the same day we started 3 years earlier. Not ebayed and havent come back yet and no desire to.

I played a 65 Cleric....then I ebayed :( . Now I read the boards a lot but I figured hey, why post on an EQ board when ya don't even play EQ....ya know? :) .

I used to be Sir Lydirn Whiteheart. Played until about 3 months ago, then finally decided it was time to quit before I graduate school. After finally beating Rallos Zek and Solusek Ro, I had seen enough of the end game to realize that the numbers just keep going higher.
It's nice to live without sleep deprivation- I remember a Vex Thal Raid where I stayed up until 5am and my alarm went off to get up for school. No more of that.
Since I've quit EQ, I haven't lost any weight but I did go from a 36 inch waist back down to a 32 inch, and subway had nothing to do with it! Yay for situps!
As it is now, I'm going into my Senior year of college and have been working the bejesus out of my trumpet chops and actually having fun since I don't have to take private lessons for my degree anymore. (gonna graduate with a Music Ed degree btw)
